In the eighth Triennial Review members of the World Trade Organization agreed to hold a workshop on the role of gender in the development of standards. This workshop took place virtually on Zoom on 8 December 2020.
The workshop was moderated by H.E. Mr. Stephen de Boer, Ambassador, Permanent Representative of Canada to the WTO. Astrid Linder was one of the speakers in the strong line-up on this topic. Her presentation ‘Gender responsive standards and car safety’ starts at 1:10:08 and includes a presentation of the VIRTUAL project.
